学生寮 Dormitory
ふじやま国際学院の寮は、留学費用を抑えたい、そんな方に適しています。時は金なり。お金を節約できれば、自由な時間が増えます。この時間は日本語を勉強するのに使えます。友だちと（日本語で）おしゃべりする時間に使えます。アルバイトの時間をセーブすることにも使えます。
住環境を大切にしている方、経済的に余裕がある方は、学校近くのアパートで一人暮らしをすることも可能です。ふじやま国際学院では直接的に物件を紹介できませんが、不動産業者のご紹介はいたします。
単身でアパート暮らしをする場合は、月額家賃の他に、敷金礼金、不動産手数料がかかります。また家電や家具、インターネット通信費などの費用がかかります。
学生の皆様は、これらの条件を踏まえて選択することができます。
The dormitories at Fujiyama JLS are ideal for students who want to keep their study abroad costs as low as possible. Time is money. If you can save money, you’ll have more free time. You can use this time to study Japanese. You can use it to chat with friends (in Japanese). You can also use it to reduce the time you spend working part-time jobs if you like.
For those who value their living environment or have the financial means, it is also possible to live alone in an apartment near the school. While Fujiyama JLS cannot directly introduce you to specific properties, we can refer you to real estate agents.
If you live alone in an apartment, in addition to the monthly rent, you will incur costs for a security deposit, key money, and real estate agent fees. You will also need to cover expenses for appliances, furniture, and internet service.
Students can make their choice based on these conditions.
～北寮：Fujiyama North Dormitory～
北寮は、学校から徒歩10分の場所にあります。寮には共同キッチン、バスルーム、トイレ、自習室が備わっています。調理器具、電子レンジ、食器、冷蔵庫も共同で利用できます。もちろん、Wi-Fiは無料で利用できます！
The dormitory of FJLS is located in a walking distance of 10 minutes from School. The residence has a communal kitchen, bathroom, toilet and study hall. Cooking wares, microwaves, dishes and fridges are available for shared use as well. And of course, Wi-Fi is free!

～東寮：Fujiyama East Dormitory～
東寮は女性専用の寮です。学校から徒歩10分の場所にあります。寮には共同キッチン、浴室、トイレ、自習室が備わっています。調理器具、電子レンジ、食器、冷蔵庫も共同で利用できます。もちろん、Wi-Fiは無料で利用できます！部屋は相部屋ですが、素敵な和室で生活することができます。
The East Dormitory is a women-only dormitory. It is located a 10-minute walk from the school. The dormitory is equipped with a shared kitchen, bathroom, restrooms, and a study room. Cooking utensils, a microwave, dishes, and a refrigerator are also available for shared use. Of course, Wi-Fi is available for free! While the rooms are shared, you’ll be able to live in a lovely traditional Japanese-style room.

寮利用希望者
For Those Interested in Living in the Dormitory
日本では、家具付き物件はほとんどありません。また、海外在住の方が日本に入国する前に不動産業者に連絡を取り、賃貸契約を結ぶことも困難です。その点、学生寮は家具付きで、入居手続きも簡単です。一方で寮生活は共同生活が基本です。そのため、規則を守れない方や他人を尊重できない方は、入居することができません。寮の規則をよくお読みください。
In Japan, there are few furnished properties available. It is also difficult for people living overseas to contact a real estate agent and sign a lease before entering Japan. In that regard, dormitories come furnished, and the leasing process is straightforward. Fujiyama JLS leases rooms and properties to use as student dormitories.
Dormitory life is based on communal living. Therefore, those who cannot follow the rules or respect others are not permitted to live there. Please read the dormitory rules carefully.
アルバイト Part-time job
留学ビザを持つ学生がアルバイトをするためには出入国管理局から「資格外活動許可書」を取得する必要があります。上限は週28時間までです。職種によって働くことが禁止されているアルバイトもあります。
Students with student visas must obtain a “Permit for Activities Outside the Scope of Status of Residence” from the Immigration Bureau in order to work part-time. The maximum number of hours allowed is 28 per week. Depending on the type of job, some part-time jobs are prohibited.
学校は日本を代表する観光地、富士河口湖町にあります。そのためホテルやレストラン、コンビニなど日本語を使用するアルバイト先が豊富にあります。

日本に上陸する際、成田空港／羽田空港で入国審査を受け、在留カードを取得します。
その際に、「資格外活許可」を取得してください。
When you arrive in Japan, you will go through immigration at Narita or Haneda Airport and receive your Residence Card. At that time, please obtain a “permit to engage in activities outside the scope of your status of residence（Part-time permission）”.
保険：Insurance
国民健康保険：National Health Insurance
国民健康保険は、日本の公的保険です。日本に3ヶ月以上居住する人は、加入が義務付けられています。病気やけがのために病院で受診した場合、国民健康保険は医療費総額の70％を負担します。学生は医療費総額の30％を自己負担するだけで済みます。
保険料は居住地域によって異なり、通常は月額1,000円～3,000円です。前年度に日本において収入がなかった場合は、保険加入手続きの際に減額申請を行います。月額2,000円程度の支払いになります。
National Health Insurance is Japan’s public health insurance system. Anyone residing in Japan for three months or longer is required to enroll. If you visit a hospital due to illness or injury, National Health Insurance covers 70% of the total medical expenses. Students are only required to pay 30% of the total medical expenses out of pocket.
Insurance premiums vary depending on your area of residence and typically range from 1,000 to 3,000 yen per month. If you had no income in Japan during the previous fiscal year, you should apply for a premium reduction when enrolling in the insurance program. In that case, your monthly payment will be approximately 2,000 yen.
留学生保険：Student Insurance
留学生は、本校の学生のために用意している保険です。医療費総額の70％は国民健康保険でカバーされ、残りの30％は留学生保険でカバーされます。留学中のもしもの怪我や病気も安心です。
保険料は学納金に含まれています。加入手続きや保険の請求手続きは学校がサポートを行います。
対象外：歯科、入国前からの持病（糖尿病など）
This insurance is provided for international students enrolled at our school. The National Health Insurance covers 70% of total medical expenses, while the remaining 30% is covered by the international student insurance. You can rest assured that you’ll be protected in the event of an injury or illness during your studies.
The insurance premium is included in your tuition and fees. The school will assist you with enrollment procedures and insurance claims.
Exclusions: Dental care, pre-existing conditions (such as diabetes) that existed prior to arrival in Japan
学校周辺：Nearby Fujiyama JLS
ふじやま国際学院は山梨県富士河口湖町にあります。富士河口湖町は人口2.7万人の小さな町です。この町は、日本有数の観光地の一つです。毎年、約500万人の観光客がこの町を訪れます。ここには、富士山、五湖、由緒ある神社、博物館など、多くの観光名所があります。また、春は桜、夏は富士山登山や花火、秋はブドウ狩りや紅葉、冬はスキーや冬花火など、季節ごとのアクティビティも楽しめます。
この地域にはホテルやレストラン、その他多くの店舗が立ち並んでおり、学生がアルバイトを比較的容易に見つけられるという点でもメリットがあります。一方、デパートや映画館などの商業施設は町内にはありませんし、学校や寮の周辺は静かな住宅地にあります。にぎやかで刺激の多い生活を求める方には不向きなエリアです。

Fujiyama JLS is located in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. Fujikawaguchiko Town is a small town with a population of 27,000. It is one of Japan’s leading tourist destinations. Every year, approximately 5 million tourists visit the town. It boasts many tourist attractions, including Mount Fuji, the Five Lakes, historic shrines, and museums. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal activities such as cherry blossoms in spring, climbing Mount Fuji and fireworks in summer, grape picking and autumn foliage in fall, and skiing and winter fireworks in winter.
This area is lined with hotels, restaurants, and many other shops, which is an advantage because students can find part-time jobs relatively easily. On the other hand, there are no commercial facilities such as department stores or movie theaters within the town itself, and the areas around the school and dormitories are located in quiet residential neighborhoods. This area is not suitable for those seeking a lively and stimulating lifestyle.
